Urine crystals
Urine crystallographic examination is one of the contents of urine sediment examination. The appearance of crystals in urine is called crystaluria. In addition to crystals such as calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, magnesium ammonium phosphate (trisphosphate), uric acid and urate, it also includes crystals precipitated from sulfonamide and other drugs. Whether crystals are precipitated in urine depends on factors such as the solubility of these substances in urine, pH, temperature, and colloidal conditions. When various factors promote and inhibit the precipitation of crystals, and factors that make urine overdose and maintain a stable and dynamic balance When imbalanced, crystals can be seen. Crystals in urine can include both metabolic and pathological, and the metabolism is mostly from diet, which is generally not of much significance.
