Sleep test
The sleep test is performed by the following principles. The secretion of human growth hormone (hGH) is regulated by a variety of neural and humoral factors, and its peaks and valleys are also circadian. Normal humans have more hGH secretion at night than during the day, and sleep more than when awake, especially 45-90min after falling asleep, the secretion reaches a peak. Sympathetic nerves excite during exercise, and elevated levels of adrenaline and norepinephrine in the blood also promote hGH secretion.
