Paronychia
The growing part of the nail is called methyl or nail root, which is covered by the skin. The sides of the nail are connected with the skin folds to form a nail groove. Paronychia is a purulent infection at the joint between the sides of the nail plate and the skin folds, and is one of the common infectious diseases of the finger (toe). The pathogen is Staphylococcus aureus on the surface of the skin. Can occur after various minor injuries. Early local anti-inflammatory treatment, infection can be controlled. After the formation of an abscess, an incision must be made for treatment.
