Extraduodenal fistula
Duodenal fistula (exteRNAl duodenal fistula) is a very common parenteral fistula, which is also a serious complication after abdominal surgery and abdominal trauma. Because most of the duodenum is deep behind the peritoneum, there are bile ducts and pancreatic ducts intersect with them. In addition, due to different causes, it is also a duodenal fistula. The manifestations and outcomes can vary greatly. Some are easily treatable, such as a duodenal stump fistula. Some complications are numerous, treatment is complex, and the prognosis is extremely poor.
