Hairy during pregnancy
In addition to hairy women, there are no other symptoms and signs of endocrine dysfunction, which are called idiopathic hirsutism in women, mainly seen in pregnant women and menopausal women. During pregnancy, a series of physiological endocrine changes occur in women. Among them, the anterior pituitary gland secretes more corticotropin and gonadotropin, which results in increased adrenal cortex hormones and androgen secreted by the ovaries and adrenals. Too much androgen lengthens the growth period of the hair, so the hair is longer than usual; at the same time, it can also increase the number of stripe hairs, so hair can appear in the early stages of pregnancy. This disease is a form of idiopathic hirsutism in women.
