Ring egg precipitation test
The ring egg sedimentation test is a supplementary inspection method for examining parasites. The secretory excrement of mature worm eggs in mature eggs is a good antigenic substance. When the antigen oozes out of the eggs and interacts with the sera of a schistosomiasis infected person, it forms a specific precipitate around the eggs, which is a precipitation reaction. It is an auxiliary inspection method for inspecting parasites.
