Jugular bulboma
Jugular bulboma is a tumor that occurs in and around the jugular foramen of the skull base. The course of the disease ranges from 1 month to 28 years. In the subsequent group, the cerebral nerves are mainly involved. Most of the tumors are single tumors and few are familial Genetic predisposition. At present, the ideal treatment for this disease is surgical removal of the tumor. Guilol and Rosenwasser (1940) first reported the surgical resection of jugular bulbous tumors. However, due to the abundant blood supply of tumor tissue and complex local anatomy, it has made it difficult to remove the tumor.
