Erosive corneal ulcer
Silkworm erosive (or chronic claudication) corneal ulcer was first reported by Mooren (1867), so it is also called Mooren's corneal ulcer. This disease is relatively common clinically, but due to unclear etiology, stubborn condition, and no effective treatment, it is still regarded as a very serious blinding eye disease.
