Cerebral hydatid disease
Human infection with Echinococcus is a chronic parasitic disease of the brain, liver, lung, heart and kidney caused by Echinococcus granulosus. Cerebral hydatid disease accounts for about 1% of patients with Echinococcus. The disease is a natural epidemic disease, widely distributed throughout the world, and mainly spread in livestock areas.
