Increased perspiration after cold

A strange sweating phenomenon of syringomyelia is increased perspiration after cold, accompanied by decreased temperature, excessive keratinization of fingertips and nails, atrophy, and loss of gloss. Due to the disappearance of pain and temperature sensation, burns, bumps, and trauma are prone to occur. Patients with advanced stage develop urinary dysfunction and recurrent urinary tract infection.
