Smooth muscle spasm is an abnormally intense contraction of visceral or whole body smooth muscles under pathological conditions. Symptoms include colic, nausea, vomiting, pale skin, cold sweats, bradycardia, and even decreased blood pressure, oliguria, and difficulty breathing.
