Trichiasis
Trichiasis surgery treats eyelashes turning inside the eye. Mostly caused by trachoma caused by contraction of conjunctival scars. Blepharitis and trauma can also cause trichiasis. Trichiasis rubs the conjunctiva and cornea, causing foreign body sensation, shame, tearing, eyelid spasm, conjunctival congestion, corneal opacity, or corneal ulcers.
