Neonatal wet lung

Newborn wet lung (born), also known as neonatal temporary dyspnea or type 2 respiratory distress syndrome (RDS type II), is a self-limiting disease. Short-term shortness of breath after birth, slightly similar to neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and amniotic fluid aspiration syndrome, but more common in term infants or term cesarean section, the symptoms quickly disappear and the prognosis is good. Avery first described the disease in 1966.
