Subcutaneous bruises on the outside of the hip
After the trauma, local pain, swelling, tenderness and dysfunction are all obvious. Sometimes subcutaneous bruises can be seen on the outside of the hip. After the injury, the affected limb has limited movement and cannot stand and walk. Subcutaneous bruises on the lateral hip are a clinical manifestation of intertrochanteric fractures of the femur. Femoral intertrochanteric fractures are common injuries in the elderly. The average age of patients is 5-6 years older than patients with femoral neck fractures. Because the tuberosity is rich in blood flow, it rarely occurs after fracture, but hip varus is easy to occur. Elderly patients are prolonged in bed and cause more complications.
