Landolfi sign

Landolfis sign test is an auxiliary test method to check whether the blood vessels are normal. Landolfis sign means that the pupils of both sides shrink when the ventricle contracts, and expand when diastolic. Pupil dilation is the result of increased excitability of parasympathetic nerve fibers of the oculomotor nerve; pupil dilation is caused by increased excitability of sympathetic nerve fibers. This sign is a peripheral vascular sign of aortic insufficiency. Through this examination, you can determine the lesion site and the corresponding symptoms.
