Chymotrypsin

Most of the enzymes in the pancreatic juice are broken down into amino acids and reabsorbed by the small intestine when passing through the intestine, of which only chymotrypsin is less damaged. Determination of chymotrypsin in feces can be used as one of the indicators of pancreatic exocrine function to a certain extent. Clinically, the principle is determined by spectrophotometry.
