Lung disease after longer shock
Shock lung refers to the severe interstitial and alveolar pulmonary edema, congestive hemorrhage, localized atelectasis, microthrombosis in capillaries, and the formation of alveolar transparent membranes when the shock persists for a long time. The characteristic lung is called the shock lung.
