Acute pancreatitis

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a more common type of acute abdomen, and its incidence rate is the third to fifth of acute abdomen. More than 80% of the patients are relatively mild, that is, acute edema pancreatitis, which can be cured non-surgically, which is basically a medical disease. About 10% of patients are severe pancreatitis, that is, acute hemorrhagic necrotizing pancreatitis. Inflammation of the pancreas is irreversible or self-limiting. Surgical treatment is often required and should be regarded as a surgical disease. As the understanding of acute pancreatitis is deeper than before, the development of diagnostic techniques and treatment methods has become more important, and it has become a problem that surgeons are very interested in. At the same time, the mortality rate is still high, reaching 30% to 60%. And prone to various serious comorbidities, it is a severe challenge for doctors.
