Sacral tibial tonality test
The sacroiliac tibial tension test is also known as the ober test. Due to the contraction of the latissimus fasciae muscles, the limbs do not fall, but are lifted up slightly. The affected limb can be passively maintained in the external booth and can feel the contracted sacroiliac tibialis at the same time as the trochanter. Used to assist in the diagnosis of popping hips.
