Ankle reflex

Ankle reflex abnormality: This reflex is a physiological reflex, which is often accompanied by ankle clonus when extremely hyperactive, suggesting a pyramidal lesion. When the sciatic nerve is damaged, lumbar disc prolapse, sciatic neuritis, and tibial nerve paralysis, the ankle reflex weakens or disappears.
