Saber syndrome
The scimitar syndrome (scimitar syndrome), also known as scoliosis syndrome, was first proposed by Neil et al. (1960). The sign is a congenital vascular malformation, a type of pulmonary vein malformation drainage (subcardiac type), which is characterized by the right pulmonary vein opening in the inferior vena cava. It is a group of symptoms caused by abnormal return of some pulmonary veins. Its main characteristics are: ① right lung hypoplasia; ② due to deformed veins, X-ray examination reveals a scimitar-like shadow along the right heart margin; ③ the heart moves to the right Bit, approximately right-centered.
