Upper gastrointestinal bleeding
Upper gastrointestinal bleeding refers to bleeding caused by lesions of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, upper jejunum (about 50 cm below the duodenal suspensory ligament), and pancreatic ducts and biliary tract lesions. The clinical manifestations are mainly vomiting blood and black feces. Is a common surgical emergency.
