Alcoholic peripheral neuropathy
Alcoholic peripheral neuropathy is one of the most common complications caused by long-term drinking. Occurred in patients with long-term alcohol abuse up to 100g per day. It is also called clinically polyneuropathy caused by chronic alcoholism, which is a more common complication of chronic alcoholism. Motor, sensory, and autonomic nerves can all be involved. It usually occurs about 10 years after cognitive dysfunction in patients with chronic alcoholism, and the incidence rate is about 34% of patients with chronic alcoholism.
