Pediatric sclerosing cholangitis
Sclerosing cholangitis, also known as fibrous cholangitis, is a cholestasis syndrome. It is caused by intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct inflammation that causes fibrous degeneration and hyperplasia of the submucosal and serous layers of the bile duct walls inside and outside the liver, causing bile ducts.
