Fracture of lower radius

Distal radius fractures are extremely common, accounting for about one-tenth of normal fractures. More common in older women, children and young people. Fractures occurred within 2 to 3 cm of the distal radius. Often accompanied by radial wrist and lower ulnar radial joint damage.
