Mucopolysaccharidosis II

This type is also called Hunter syndrome, which was first described by Hunter (1917). Wolff (1946) reported the first X-linked inherited Hunter syndrome family. Mekusick (1965) and others classified this type as mucopolysaccharidosis type Ⅱ according to its clinical characteristics, biochemical abnormalities and genetic methods.
