Sweat electrolyte
Sweat is the fluid secreted by the sweat glands of the skin and refers to sweat caused by heat. The major electrolytes in sweat include sodium and chloride ions, as well as small amounts of potassium and calcium. Sweat electrolyte examination has important clinical significance for the diagnosis of endocrine and metabolic diseases.
