Brain stem injury

Brainstem injury refers to damage to the midbrain, pons and medulla. It is a severe craniocerebral injury, which is usually divided into two types: primary brainstem injury, brainstem injury caused by external violence; secondary Brainstem injury is secondary to other severe brain injuries and is caused by brain hernia or brain edema.
