High immunoglobulin E syndrome

High immunoglobulin E syndrome is Job syndrome, also known as Yao dermatitis syndrome, chronic granulomatous disease variant (Granulomatous disease variant), Buckley syndrome and so on. This symptom is a rare disease whose etiology and pathogenesis are unknown. The main features are: ① chronic eczema dermatitis; ② repeated severe infections; ③ serum IgE is significantly increased. It was first reported by Davis et al in 1966 and named Job Syndrome. In 1972, Buckley and others successively reported cases and found that IgE in the serum of children was significantly increased. Therefore, they were named Buckley syndrome after Buckley. At present, most scholars have replaced the names of Job syndrome and Buckley syndrome with high IgE syndrome (HIES).
