Delayed excretion of bromosulfatphthalein is an indicator of abnormal liver function, including increased serum alkaline phosphatase activity, delayed excretion of bromsulfurphthalide, prolonged plasma albumin reduction of prothrombin time, and indirect bilirubin elevation globulin abnormalities.
