Tracheal and mediastinal displacement

CT scans of patients with mediastinal nerve sheath-derived tumors can show that the tumor fills the entire chest cavity, the mediastinum is displaced to the healthy side, the trachea is displaced, and it is compressed or narrowed. Neurogenic tumors are the most common mediastinal tumors in adults and children. Tumors are divided into benign tumors such as schwannomas, melanoma Schwannoma, granulosa cell tumors, and neurofibromas, of which malignant tumors include malignant Schwann cell tumors and neurogenic Sarcoma.
