Saliva spillover
Drooling, also known as drooling, is a condition in which saliva in the mouth unconsciously overflows from the mouth. Generally speaking, infants under 1 year old will drool because of small oral cavity volume, large saliva secretion, and stimulation of gums by teething. With the growth and development, drooling will gradually disappear at about 1 year old. If the baby is still drooling after the age of 2, it may be an abnormal phenomenon, such as cerebral palsy, congenital dementia, etc. In addition, baby suffering from oral ulcers or weak spleen and stomach will also salivate.
