Tumor sentinel lymph node imaging

The first node of lymphatic drainage in the tumor area is called the sentinel node (SN) of the tumor. Preoperative diagnosis of the presence or absence of tumor metastasis in the SN is of great significance in determining the surgical method of the tumor and the extent of lymph dissection. The identification and location of the SN is the key to determining the success of the SN biopsy.
