Widened proximal femur
The predominant sites of hereditary malformed cartilage dysplasia were femur, proximal and distal tibia and fibula, and proximal end of humerus. The typical X-ray manifestations are: defects in bone formation and skeletal deformity, hip valgus, and thickening and widening of the proximal femur, and the ulnar deflection of the wrist joint is relatively shortened.
