Pericardial tumor
Pericardial tumors are very rare. Primary benign pericardial tumors include lipomas, lobulated fibrous polyps, hemangiomas, and teratomas. Primary malignant tumors include mesothelioma and sarcoma, which are widely distributed and often infiltrate tissues. Secondary tumors spread directly from the chest to the pericardium, the most common being bronchial and breast cancer.
