Postprandial syndrome
Postprandial syndrome: refers to a series of hypoglycemia that occurs when gastric emptying is too fast after gastrectomy, glucose is quickly absorbed by the intestinal mucosa, which causes a sudden increase in blood glucose and stimulates the islets to secrete too much insulin.
