Cerebrospinal fluid antidiuretic hormone

AVP is also called vasopressin, antidiuretic hormone or produced by the supraoptic and paraventricular nucleus cells of the hypothalamus, and is stored in the pituitary gland. In the central nervous system, it can regulate intracranial pressure and brain tissue metabolism, and has physiological functions such as anti-diuresis, vasoconstriction, memory enhancement, participation in body temperature and immune regulation.
