Posture and Gait
Posture and gait are one of the items for a physical examination. Posture is what the body looks like. Abnormal posture is closely related to physical health and personal habits. Gait refers to the posture of the patient while walking. It is a complex motor process, which requires a high degree of coordination between the nervous system and muscles. It also involves many spinal reflexes and adjustments of the large and small cerebellum, as well as the completeness of various posture reflexes, coordination of sensory systems and motor systems.
