Introduction

Introduction Unclear, meaning that the language of speech is unclear, stuttering is vague. There are four main reasons for the unclearness: first, hearing impairment, second, abnormal pronunciation organs, third, oral movement function, and fourth, the influence of the language environment. Whether the child's oral structure, soft palate development is normal, whether the child's tongue is tied or not, etc., will hinder the development of the child's speech.

Cause

Cause

There are four main reasons for the unclearness: first, hearing impairment, second, abnormal pronunciation organs, third, oral movement function, and fourth, the influence of the language environment.

Influencing factor

1. Listening and speaking about the normal development of organs or not, the impact on children's hearing and speech. Whether the child's oral structure, soft palate development is normal, the child's tongue with or without adhesion, etc., will create obstacles to the child's speech development.

2. Related to parental inheritance. In the general family, there is a late opening situation, and the possibility of opening the next generation is greater. Some are late openings without reason, and they will be said at that time. This kind of person is a very small number of children who open the mouth late.

Under normal circumstances, the neonatal tongue ligament extends to the tip of the tongue or close to the tip of the tongue. During the development of the tongue, the ligament gradually retracts toward the base of the tongue. Normal children gradually move away from the ligament after 2 years of age. Only a small number of children with abnormal development have a short tongue tie. Therefore, the infant's tongue ligament should not be considered abnormal. It is best to observe that after the age of 2, if the ligament is too short to affect the tongue extension and hinder the clarity of the voice, the front of the lacing film can be simply cut. Open, no local anesthesia is required. If the ligament is fibrotic, short and stiff, that is, the tongue ligament is shortened, surgery should be performed.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

Inaccurate pronunciation and misrepresentation are related to the shortness of the tongue, but this is not the only reason for the inaccuracy. Tongue straps are too short, generally only affecting the child's pronunciation of certain words is not accurate, and does not play a major role in the overall pronunciation. There are two main reasons for the inaccuracy of pronunciation:

First, congenital physiological defects, such as congenital cleft lip and palate, missing or deformed teeth, and short tongue ligaments, etc.

Second, it is caused by acquired diseases. For example, when a child is a child, the vocal organ movement is uncoordinated due to nervous system diseases, and the hearing cannot be corrected due to impaired hearing, etc., and the brain cannot be correctly imitated, and brain development disorders may cause inaccurate pronunciation. In addition, the vocabulary of children before 3 years old is gradually increasing. They want to use words to express their own thinking. Therefore, there are often inaccurate pronunciations, especially some complicated sounds. This is because they have just learned to speak soon, and the brain's language center and vocal organs are still immature, or caused by the influence of the language environment during learning to speak.
