Western blot
Western blotting involves transferring proteins to a membrane and detecting them with antibodies. For known expressed proteins, the corresponding antibody can be used as the primary antibody for detection, and the expression product of the new gene can be detected by the antibody of the fusion part. It has the advantages of large analysis capacity, high sensitivity, strong specificity, etc. One of the most commonly used methods for expression and distribution, such as the qualitative and quantitative detection of tissue antigens, the quality determination of peptide molecules, and the detection of antibodies or antigens to viruses.
