Nasal septum ulcer

Septal ulcer and perforation of nASAl septum are different periods of the same pathological process. Except for injuries, ulcers often occur before perforation of the nasal septum. Traumatic injury, surgical injury, and contact with corrosive or irritating substances can cause perforation of the nasal septum. Malignant granuloma, malignant lymphoma, tuberculosis, lupus, leprosy, and syphilis can damage the cartilage and bone of the nasal septum and cause perforation.
