Sporothrix agglutination test

Sporotrichosis is a chronic infection of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and nearby lymph vessels caused by S. schenckii, which can spread throughout the body and cause system damage. It can occur in any age group, from infants to the elderly, without gender differences. Geographical distribution is more common in warm tropical regions. Occupational characteristics are mostly farmers or gardeners working in dark and humid environments.
