Atrial flutter in the elderly
Atrial flutter can be thought of as an intermediate pattern between atrial tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. When the frequency of atrial ectopic pacing points reaches 250-350 beats / min and is regular, the rapid and coordinated contraction of the atrium is called atrial flutter.
