Intestinal endometriosis
Intestinal endometriosis refers to an active endometrial invasion and intestinal canal, and is a clinical symptom of non-cancerous disease caused by the cyclic effects of ovarian hormones. Because the lesion usually invades the colon and rectum, It is called colorectal endometriosis. It may be caused by many factors, such as menstrual countercurrent theory, body cavity epithelial metaplasia theory, benign metastasis theory, genetic theory, and cellular immunity theory.
