Carotid pulsation weakens or disappears

The weakening or disappearance of carotid pulsation is one of the symptoms of polyarteritis. Polyarteritis is also called primary takayasu syndrome, aortic arch syndrome, venous disease or Takayasu`s disease. Eastern countries have a higher incidence and are more common in young women.
