Serum retinol binding protein
Vitamin A binding protein is a transporter of vitamins in the blood. It is synthesized by the liver and widely distributed in blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid and other body fluids. Determination of vitamin A binding protein can detect renal tubular damage early, and can sensitively reflect the degree of renal proximal tubule damage. It can also be used as an indicator of early liver damage and monitoring and treatment.
