Urinary immunoglobulin determination is of certain value for observing the degree of disease and prognosis of patients with chronic nephritis and nephrotic syndrome; it is also a reference value for diagnosing urinary tract infections and urinary tract diseases. 24 hours urine collection is usually performed.
