Nasopharyngeal carcinoma

Malignant tumors of the nasopharyngeal mucosa. China's Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan and other places are frequent areas, with more men than women. The age of onset is mostly middle-aged, and there are also adolescents. The etiology is related to ethnic susceptibility (yellow race is more common than white race), genetic factors and EB virus infection. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a highly invasive tumor that invades deep structures early. Different types of nasopharyngeal diseases cause different symptoms: ascending type (A type) expansion, descending type (D type) metastasis, and ascending and descending type (AD type).
