Total pneumonectomy
Central lung cancer, damaged lung and other pneumonectomy precautions: 1. Total atelectasis due to bronchial stenosis, if possible, narrow tracheal sleeve resection can be performed to preserve good lung tissue. 2. Pneumonectomy has a greater impact on lung function. In the past, it was thought that those with a maximum ventilation volume of less than 50% of the expected value should be cautious, but in actual work, the test results should not be solely based on the patient's overall condition. As the removal of the damaged lung reduces ineffective shunts, it is beneficial for improving lung function. Therefore, sometimes the maximum ventilation is less than 50%, and surgery can be performed.
