Huffman sign
Hoffmann sign is a pathological reflex. The examiner clamps the middle of the middle finger of the patient with the forefinger and middle fingers of his right hand to make the wrist dorsiflexion, and the other fingers are naturally relaxed and half-flexed. Then the examiner quickly scratches the patient's middle finger nail with his thumb. The flexion motion of the fingers is positive for Huffman sign.
